The foundations to a person's mind are based on the principals both intstiled into and gathered from experiences as a child. As children grow older, they soon start interpreting this information to decide for themselves which of their actions are right and wrong. What draws me to study Psychology is this mental processing, and how it affects a person's current and future disposition. I am particularly interested in child psychology, because it is at this stage when a person's personal identity begins to build up, as children are easily influenced by their environment and what they learn from experiences, they carry their entire lives.
Easy Tips to Map, Start & Ace Your UCAS Personal Statement
Writing a Personal Statement for UCAS is, in many ways, like asking a student to tell the story of their life in 4, characters or less. Students need to write a genuine, authoritative and compelling account of who they are and what they want from a UK university degree. In order to do this, the Personal Statement will require a student to master form, structure and content in such a way that makes their writing stand out. Understandably, students might feel an inordinate amount of pressure to get their Personal Statement right first time. The problem is often that students will have a lot to say and will have put a lot of thought into their Statement, but may make some simple stylistic mistakes that could cost them when they finally submit their application.
