Ever since my favorite team, the University of Florida Gators, capped off a great season with a national championship over Ohio State, college basketball has played a significant part in my life for the near six months that it is on per season. If my love for sports was paired with my love for knowledge and history, then it is expected that I would. While there are many concerns about sporting events such as March Madness causing disruptions for companies and reducing productivity; these events also boost morale and encourage communication. Besides March Madness, events such as political, sporting and community events can be disruptive to work at the office. Political events such as the presidential election can cause disruptions. During the last presidential election, the candidates Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton created meaningful discussions.

Society can judge and create stereotypes of everything just by the way they look. Writers such as Homer, in the Odyssey and Virgil in the Aeneid, where really obvious with the themes and how the characters behaved throughout the story. They believed in destiny and thought any path would take the character to fulfill it.
