History education in schools is restricted by lots of things: time, resources, expertise…the list goes on. In order to do this, history teachers have produced work-sheets with maps, images and tasks, supported with appropriate web addresses, that can be completed alongside the taught curriculum that pupils study. These work-sheets can be accessed here, for free! Pupils will learn alien and exciting things from researching these new topics. They will discover worlds beyond the necessary limitations of classroom teaching. We also hope that teachers are encouraged to at least think twice about the scope of the past at our disposal.

Yet the ideas communicated and the realities described all work on two levels: There is the level of the text itself, the stories as sci-fi and fantasy shorts; and the level of the subtext, the stories as resistance, as proof of the current reality, a reality in which trans people exist and refuse to be invisiblized. When she finds out that the womb she received was somehow pregnant when she received it or was it immaculate conception? The questions go on, and Maryam is a fierce protagonist wielding her own answers and decisions. Manufacturer is not responsible for any personal catharsis.
This worksheet allows students to use a primary source document to learn about the suffering caused by the Irish Potato Famine. I use this worksheet to help students better understand the Irish Potato Famine and Irish emigration to the United States. This activity is very easy to use. All you have to do is print off the primary source from the following website for classroom use, or direct students to the website to answer the worksheet questions:. Click here to view the website!
