They are the big dreams that give your life direction and purpose. Long term goals are things you want to achieve further into the future, often on a timescale of months or years. Long term goals require a good deal of time and daily planning in order to ultimately reach them. They often require multiple steps, involving the completion of other, smaller goals along the way. Long term goals refer to accomplishments that will take significant time, effort, and planning to achieve.
Setting goals gives me long-term and short-term motivation. It also gives me the confidence I need to achieve higher and more complicated goals. By setting goals and continually reminding myself of them, I feel as though I work harder to achieve my goals. To succeed, I believe setting goals is very important.
Since primary school, I have always known what I would like to do, what goals to pursue and how to get what I was really into. Being goal-oriented and persistent has always helped me in life and it is still something that keeps me active on my life track. Determined and eager to make new steps, I have never been afraid to take bold actions or choose new paths, which inevitably led to changes.
